【家长工作坊】MYP项目评估 | I-EP中学部(IB认证

2021年11月12日,华师外校创新融合部(I-EP) 开展了本学期的中学家长工作坊活动(MYP Parent Workshop)。I-EP是IB授权学校,强调建立学生、学校和家长为一体的学习者社区。家长工作坊是I-EP每学期的传统活动之一,家长可以在这一活动中进一步了解学部的课程体系,设计理念,评判标准以及孩子们的学习方式等内容。

活动回顾

在工作坊一开始,家长们接受了一个诊断性评估,检测他们对国际文凭组织的评估的了解程度。在他们做评估时,MYP协调员和研讨会负责人--Miss Loveless带领他们了解了MYP中实施的3种评估方式。 

Parents took part in a diagnostic assessment to see what they already know about assessment in the IB.  As they were doing their assessment, MYP Coordinator and workshop leader - Miss Loveless, walked them through the 3 types of assessments implemented in the MYP.

 Diagnostic Assessment 

诊断性评价

诊断性评价让老师了解学生已经知道什么,理解什么,能做什么,这样就可以根据学生的需要来调整单元设计。


Diagnostic Assessment allows the teacher to understand what the students already know, understand, and can do so that the unit can be tailored to fit the student’s needs.

 Formative Assessment

形成性评价

在一个单元中,学生正在 "形成 "他们的知识、理解和技能。他们在参与课堂和完成小任务时,会收到关于他们提供的学习证据的反馈。这种反馈让学生和老师知道他们的学习和教学是否在正轨上,或者是否需要调整。这被称为 "形成性评价"。它帮助学生建立知识、理解和技能,以实现总结性任务的目标。


During a unit, students are “forming” their knowledge, understanding, and skills. They receive feedback on the evidence of learning they provided as they participate in class and complete smaller tasks. This feedback lets students and teachers know if their learning and teaching is on track or needs adjusting. This is called “formative assessment”. It helps students build the knowledge, understanding, and skills needed to achieve the objectives of the summative task(s).

总结性评价

在一个单元结束时(或在学习了相当一部分内容后),学生将完成一项或多项任务,以证明在学习过程结束后,他们现在所知道的、理解的和能够做到的。这就是所谓的总结性评价。


At the end of a unit (or after a substantial section of learning), students will complete a task or tasks to demonstrate what they know, understand, and can do now, after the learning process is complete. This is called summative assessment.

在活动中,家长们了解到MYP的成绩是如何衡量的:每个科目的学习是通过4个标准来评估的。因为每个科目都有不同的学习对象,所以每个科目有不同的评判标准。学生的作业是根据0-8级之间的定性描述来评估的。


Parents learned about how achievement is measured in the MYP.  Learning in each subject is assessed through 4 criteria. Since each subject has different learning objects, each subject has different criteria. Students work is assessed on a qualitative descriptive level of achievement between a scale of 0-8.

同时,家长们还亲自动手评估了我们学生的一些数学作业和设计作业。他们使用了与这些总结性任务相配套的特定评分标准,学习到了如何使用评分标准来评估作业。


Parents got their hands dirty by diving into assessing a few of our student’s assignments in Mathematics and Design.  They used the task-specific rubrics that accompany those summative tasks to learn hand-on how to assess work using a rubric.
