I-EP of Huawai Tongman Foreign Language School is IB Authorized Schools (PYP & MYP), which offer the IB curriculum of primary school and middle school.

IB is a socially constructed, inquiry-based teaching and learning model. This means that we believe that students can construct their own understanding of the world based on foundational knowledge. We will adapt our educational way according to the growth degree of our students.

Our educational philosophy is to enable our learners to become global citizens with a "Chinese heart and world view".

I-EP holds an assembly every monday morning, in addition to raising the flag, the Star of the Week and the scores of each house will be announced to all students and faculty. Also, in the assembly, we will emphasize the behavioral priorities and instructional priorities.

I-EP在每周一早上举行集会，除升国旗外，还会向全体师生公布每周之星，各社的得分；强调本周行为养成重点及教学重点。

I-EP House Culture

The I-EP five-house system is designed to encourage students to actively participate in activities for promoting their social, developmental and emotional skills. It reflects our core values and IB philosophy. Through the gradual implementation of this system, students will be placed into different multi-grade & mixed-age clusters to interact with peers of different ages. Within their community, children will have opportunities to participate in leadership and service type tasks. They will also receive ongoing support and guidance. In this way, we hope to develop more and more student leaders and mentors who care for others and contribute to the continued development of the community.

I-EP House tickets achievements

Under the building of the house system culture, I-EP has introduced the Star of the Week system to encourage more positive behaviors from students, thus further promoting I-EP as a positive and active professional learning community.

Every Friday we will elect the "Star of the Week" by counting the House Tickets received by students under the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality, and the student who receives the most votes will be elected as the "Star of the Week". Every Monday at the flag raising ceremony, the principal will personally encourage and award this student with a certificate. At the same time, we will take a picture of them and send the photo to the entire I-EP community so that all parents, classmates, and teachers will know what the "Star of the Week" has done, and to encourage other students to have a more positive behavior.

I-EP的社制文化

I-EP五社制的设计鼓励学生积极参与促进他们社交技能、发展技能和情感技能提升的活动和任务。它反映着我们的核心价值观及IB理念。通过这个制度的逐步实施，学生将被分进不同的多年级混龄群组，与不同年龄的同学进行互动。在他们的社里面，孩子们会有机会参与领导和服务类的任务。他们也会获得持续的支持和指引。以此，我们希望培养出越来越多的学生领袖和导师，他们关爱他人，并为这个社会的持续发展贡献力量。

每周之星的产生制度

在社制文化的建设下，I-EP推出每周之星制度，以鼓励学生有更多积极正面的行为，从而进一步推动I-EP成为一个积极、正面的专业学习社群。

每个星期五我们会在公开、公平、公正的原则下，通过统计学生所获得的House Tickets，获得票数最多的学生当选出 “本周之星”。每周一的升旗典礼上，将会由校长亲自鼓励和颁发奖状给这名学生，对他的行为进行嘉奖鼓励，同时我们会将合影发给整个I-EP社群，让所有的家长、同学和老师知晓“本周之星”所做的事情，鼓励其他学生有更加正面积极的行为。
