New semester, New start. Maintaining effective home-school communication is one of the most important parts of focusing on the healthful growth of students. In order to enable every new parent to fully understand the school's mission, curriculum arrangement, our student growth system and other important contents, helping the transferred students smoothly adapt to the new environment and integrate into the new community, on Sep. 14, 2023, the transferred students' parent meeting of I-EP MYP was held in the conference room of the Huali Hall.
新学期，新起点，保持有效的家校沟通是关注学生健康成长的重要环节之一。为了让每位新生家长充分了解学校的办学宗旨、课程设置以及学生成长等重要内容，帮助插班生们顺利适应新环境、融入新社群，2023年9月14日，华外创新融合部（I-EP）MYP中学插班生家长会在华鲤堂一楼会议室顺利拉开了帷幕。
Mr. Wang Zhipeng, MYP Assistant Coordinator, was the first to speak, showing parents the core competencies of the MYP integration program, and emphaszied the curriculum setting and integration in I-EP MYP. During Mr. Wang's presentation, parents were impressed by MYP's meticulous curriculum situation, various academic competitions, and our strong teaching team. Therefore, they are full of expectations and confidence in their children's future learning.
MYP助理协调员王志鹏老师率先发言，他向家长们展示了MYP融合课程的核心竞争力，着重强调了MYP的课程设置与课程融合。细致周到的课程安排、丰富多样的学术竞赛、温暖而强大的教师团队，在王老师的娓娓道来中，家长们都不约而同地对孩子们未来的学习充满了期待与信心。
Afterwards, Ms. Xiao Yao, the head of MYP's Student Development, led parents to learn more about I-EP's special house system, students' behavioral managing rules, family-school partnerships and student leadership training program. These will help students to build self-confidence and develop leadership skills, energizing their growth and paving a solid foundation for their future development.
随后，MYP学生成长处负责人肖瑶老师带领家长们深入了解了I-EP特色社制活动、行为管理体系、家校合作支持以及学生领导力培养等方面的内容。这些支持和培养将帮助孩子们建立自信、培养领导力，给孩子们的成长注入能量，为他们的未来发展铺就坚实的基础。
Mr. Liu Wei, head of the I-EP Program, gave a wonderful concluding speech to sum up. In his speech, Principal Liu emphasized the school's mission and the importance of curriculum development. He said that I-EP will continue to pursue excellence, create a positive learning environment, work hard to promote curriculum construction, maintain the international advanced education standards, broaden students' academic horizons, and cultivate their future-oriented abilities.
创新融合部校长助理兼I-EP项目负责人刘伟先生作出了精彩的总结陈词。在演讲中，刘校强调了学校的办学宗旨及课程建设的重要性。他表示，I-EP将不断追求卓越，营造积极向上的学习环境，努力推进课程建设，保持国际先进教育水平，发展学生更广阔的学术视野，培养他们面向未来的能力。
In the final session of this parent meeting, many parents spoke with gratitude about the changes and progress of their children since enrollment, and other parents in the audience were all empathetic and applauded thunderously. Teachers also answered parents' questions and suggestions patiently and meticulously.
在最后的家校交流环节，不少家长满怀感激地讲诉自己孩子入学以来的变化和进步，在场其他家长无不感同身受，阵阵掌声雷动。同时，与会老师们还针对在场家长们的疑问和建议进行了耐心细致的解答。
